Surgical treatment of jaw inflammatory odontogenic cysts in primary teeth: a retrospective analysis

Relevance . Odontogenic cysts in children are the most common bone pathology. The study aimed to conduct a retrospective descriptive analysis of inflammatory odontogenic cases associated with primary teeth children. Material and methods analysed medical records diagnosed "radicular cyst tooth" from 2015-2020. We studied following characteristics, namely, sex, age, location process, condition question, surgical treatment techniques outcome. data obtained were processed by variational statistics. Student t-test assessed significance differences. Results 60 aged 6 13 years. Cysts more often lower second molars previously treated resorcinol-formaldehyde resin therapy. period tooth diagnosis was 3 5 applied gentle traditional cystotomy. Fifty-one (85.0%) had follow-up examinations. All showed tissue restoration during 4 12 months spontaneous eruption permanent 3-8 months. Only (7.8%) required orthodontic correction position. Conclusion Primary molars, resin, cause jaw Low-traumatic preserving follicles highly effective (88.2%).
